Rolls-Royce Unveils Custom Pink Ghost: 6 Months in the Making, 30 Hours per Flower
Rolls-Royce is no stranger to catering to the whims of its customers, as long as they have the funds to back it. This even includes painting a Ghost model in a shade of pink.
Pink Rolls-Royce Ghosts are a rare sight on the streets, and not everyone is willing to invest heavily in a striking personal statement.
The British automaker recently revealed a pink Rolls-Royce Ghost designed for a social media influencer with the handle @ChampagneRose on Instagram. The car was finished in a custom Champagne Rose pink, exclusively tailored for Elinor Rose, the owner of @ChampagneRose.
Elinor Rose, often seen with her signature Louis Vuitton luggage and the latest fashion trends, has attracted 3.1 million followers on Instagram with only 100 posts. Her content usually revolves around extravagant trips to famous destinations.
With its distinctive pink color and a layer of crystal finish, this Rolls-Royce Ghost looks like the ultimate Barbie dream car.
Critics might argue that a multi-billion-dollar Rolls-Royce Ghost is already opulent enough, but this model takes it a step further by adorning it with a layer of pink all over.
Customers spend 4 days selecting samples from various Rolls-Royce models. They then send a color palette with hundreds of samples to the company’s dedicated team, which narrows down the options to 30 shades. From there, the final preferred color is chosen.
The creation of this specific Rolls-Royce Ghost took 6 months, including rigorous testing to ensure the pink color remains vibrant under the sun.
The pink theme extends to the interior, with the steering wheel, dashboard, seats, and more covered in a lavish shade of pink.
Despite the abundance of pink, the Rolls-Royce Ghost retains its elegance under the skillful touch of the experts.
The pink accents include details made from pink leather, veneer overlays, black piano-finished outlines, and the Rolls-Royce logo.
Other luxurious elements encompass a pink wool carpet, exquisite rose patterns on the seats, and picnic tables. Crafting each rose pattern involves more than 5,500 individual stitches and over 30 hours of work.
The dividing strip between the rear seats features hand-painted rose patterns, requiring several days for design creation and a final finish that takes 14 hours.
Notably, the signature “starlit sky” ceiling is transformed into a Champagne Rose version with intricately embedded rose patterns. Creating this starry sky took 60 hours of work.
A standard Rolls-Royce Ghost is priced around $400,000. However, a bespoke version like this starts at a minimum of $500,000.
In a world where luxury knows no bounds, Elinor Rose’s custom pink Rolls-Royce Ghost stands as a testament to individuality and opulence, proving that even the most prestigious can be further personalized to fit the tastes of the exceptionally affluent.
