The Future of The Shining: What Lies Behind?

Currently, there is no movie called “The Shining 2” scheduled for release in 2025. However, the official sequel to “The Shining,” “Doctor Sleep,” was released in 2019. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King and follows the story of Danny Torrance, Jack Torrance’s son, years after the events at the Overlook Hotel.

In “Doctor Sleep,” Danny, now an adult, must face the hauntings of his past and protect a young girl with similar psychic abilities from a cult that hunts people with “life force” to prolong their lives.
