Yellow Jackets find factory in Portugal with abandoned classic cars

The Yellow Jackets are a Portuguese photographer couple who give new life to abandoned places.

Ivy and Athon, both with degrees in photography and design, were already photographing similar places before they met and together they decided to create a new and exciting project. And now, always wearing their yellow jackets, the couple explores, portrays and documents the passage of time in the most diverse places.

Their portfolio includes photographs in factories, power plants, mines, prisons, palaces, hospitals, morgues, cinemas, theatres, libraries, laboratories, churches, among many others.

After finding an abandoned Disney castle in Sintra, it was time to explore, also in Portugal, an old factory with dozens of cars dating back to 1940.

Despite the curiosity of the population, and the many questions about the location of this place, the couple prefers not to make this information public, arguing that these places should be preserved from the eyes of the most curious.
